Cabbage Rose Music

Founded by Sharon Overall in 2016

Sharon began her musical studies at an early age.  She is an accomplished pianist and musician with broad experience.  She has played in small ensembles, pit orchestras, big bands, accompanied college choirs and soloists, and has conducted church choirs.  Beginning in 2000, Sharon began arranging choral and solo music for her friends and colleagues in the Mesa, Arizona area.  The first arrangement, My Heavenly Father Loves Me was written for solo voice.  Later that year, she arranged her first choral work of the beloved Christmas hymn Silent Night.   These early works showed her unique, creative approach to arranging.  Influencing her style are the Great Composers, Broadway musicals and Rock & Roll.  Her passion for creating new and unique ways to enjoy traditional songs continues to grow.  Now she has numerous pieces available for singers—and more to come!

The name Cabbage Rose Music is a tribute to Sharon’s mother who passed away in 2015.   She had a passion for collecting Depression Glass.  She wanted each of her daughters to have a piece of glass in the pattern of their name.  The Sharon pattern is Cabbage Rose.
